Hugh Ward, Pastor

Ward FamilyPastor Hugh Ward is a native of South Carolina and grew up the son of a Pentecostal Holiness minister. He gave his heart to the Lord as a child and later accepted the call to ministry. Hugh is married to his wife of fourteen years, Kelly, and has a beautiful nine-year-old daughter, Mackenzie. After working for ten years as an Associate Pastor, he came on staff as the Senior Pastor of the church in June of 2012.

Hugh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Ministries from Emmanuel College with a minor in music. While at Emmanuel, he and his wife were able to tour with different groups and minister in song. He furthered his education at Liberty Theological Seminary where he completed a Master of Arts in Religion, and completed his Master of Divinity at Columbia International University with a concentration in Leadership. His passion is to educate the body of Christ by fulfilling the call of ministering the word through anointed teaching.

Robert Ward, Pastor Emeritus

Robert WardRev. Robert G. Ward, Sr. was born and reared in Williamsburg County. He graduated from Indian Town High School. He attended Holmes College of the Bible and later did other studies. He was licensed to preach in 1961 in the South Carolina Conference of the Pentecostal Holiness Church. On June 26, 2011 he celebrated being a Senior Pastor for 50 years. During these years of service he served longer than any other as District Director. He also served from 1986 to 1994 as Conference Treasurer. He has been successful as pastor, evangelist, and church planter.

He is married to Janice W. Ward. They have four children; Glen, Mark, Lisa and Hugh and six grandchildren. Pastor Ward serves now as Pastor Emiratis at the East Columbia Pentecostal Holiness Church where his son, Hugh, is now serving as Senior Pastor.
